i have long admired the creative music of Akron, Ohio's Devo. The Daily Swarm, a music news blog i frequent, recently posted a very nice video - an interview with all four members of devo - a little on their past, their present, and for the nerdz, a walk around some of their sweet synthesizer collection.

Stargate Universe - 'faith'

ive been steadily enjoying Stargate Universe for the past couple of months. The most recent episode, "Faith" went in an interesting, theologically bent, direction. The team, arriving in an uncharted star's gravitational pull, explore a planet with remarkable earth-like qualities. Some of a team sent to collect supplies decides they want to stay on the planet, after a person i'd never seen before in the series produces a steady stream of spiritually-tinged quotes, suggesting the planet was destined to them...
